Cheryl and Brian- Palace at Somerset Park

Serendipity
A chance meeting on their first day of orientation at MTV Networks in New York City brought Cheryl and Brian together. From that moment on the city and the iconic yellow taxi held a special place in their hearts. With their careers in television-Cheryl at Nickelodeon and Brian at Versus, their goal was to combine NYC and the entertainment world into a unique wedding held at the Palace in Somerset Park.

Cheryl still wanted to be a princess for the day, she wanted something pink and fun. Crystals were added to her bouquet of Sweet Akito pink roses and spray roses to compliment the swarovski crystals on her dress by Michelle Roth. Her "Princess" crown was attached to the white satin wrap.

The flower girls carried pink pomander balls and even the  bar was decorated with fun floral drinks - green spider mums garnished with limes made by the bride. Low centerpieces filled with hydrangeas, roses and kermit mums were alternated with tall centerpieces.

Pictures of Famous TV Couples including Lucy and Ricky,  Brenda and Dylan among other Famous TV Couples were framed and placed on the tables while placecards of mini tv sets served as memorable escort cards.

In true tv style they kept “the audience” (guests) interested by “interrupting our broadcast” playing tribute videos of their life and times, friends and family and a “thank you” piece on a 10 foot screen.

Trumpet vases were filled with crystals and pink colored water along with led lights. Pink and green hydrangeas, sophie and ravel roses and spray roses were accented by crystals hidden among the flowers. Below a room view of alternating high and low centers in the Palace East Wing Ballroom.

A taxi-cab served as the cake topper for their special yellow and black cake-would it be anything else?
